Clinic Psychology

Our Axis Psychologists are skilled in working with people with a variety of psychological presentations or who may have experienced major life disruptions that impact their mental health. Our dedicated team of psychologists are highly trained and deliver evidenced-based treatments.

At Axis we see adult patients, seeking care privately or via referrals from schemes such as GP MHCP and NDIS. We can see you face to face or securely over telehealth.

We also provide individual counselling under Worker’s Compensation claims, Comcare claims and Employee Assistance Programs.

FEES
Sessions are 50mins in length and fees vary depend on personal circumstances and the psychologist you are seeing.

The Medicare rebate for psychologists with General Registration is $92.90.
Cost of 50min session:
– Psychologist $220 (Medicare Rebate $92.90)
– Clinical Lead / Senior Psychologist $260 (Medicare Rebate $92.90)

At Axis we are a training organisation and provide clinical support and work experience to registered psychologists who are completing their training. They are registered as Provisional Psychologists and are qualified to provide psychological interventions. All Provisional Psychologists are provided with regular clinical supervision from a fully qualified senior psychologist. Provisional Psychologists are a lower cost option, however clients are unable to claim a Medicare rebate.

Late Cancellations (within 24 hours) or failure to attend your appointment will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
