What actually works

Urban Utilities Workplace Wellbeing Journey

We recently heard from Axis Executive Manager – Mental Wellbeing Services, Shayne Dearling and Urban Utilities Manager Health & Wellbeing, Tegan Jones on the integration of our Axis Onsite Psychology service in the workplace and a discussion on insights and learnings – What actually works

One of the key themes we explored and something we see firsthand at Axis, is that creating a mentally healthy workplace is not a one-off initiative, it’s a journey of implementation.

Our onsite psychology service at Urban Utilities has evolved over the years into an integrated, preventative approach: embedded within the workplace, aligned to operational needs, and focused on early intervention and psychosocial risk management.

It reinforces an important point: there is no endpoint when it comes to managing psychosocial risk. It requires ongoing refinement, feedback, and commitment at every level of the organisation.

If you’re currently navigating psychosocial risk or exploring how onsite psychology could support your workforce, feel free to connect for a quick conversation.
